T-5 Bazil Bornt (1922-1991), from Walloomsac, NY (North Bennington, VT), inducted in US Army 1942, honorably discharged in 1945. Served in Company A, 203rd FABn, 119th Field Artillery Group, ETO 1944-1945. His home town, the tiny colonial hamlet of Walloomsac in the town of Hoosick, is the site of the Bennington Battlefield (a NYS State Historic Site), where the Revolutionary War's Battle of Bennington was fought in 1777. Buried in Section 112, Site 2744, Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
